Gyeongbokgung–2012 Vacation Part 7

Gyeongbokgung is the largest palace in Korea first built in 1394 and then re-built in the 1800s.

We had a free day on the 3rd day. All Chinese friends went to a pressed flower coffee shop and then went shopping. Ludmila, Tatiana and us elected to visit the palace and museums.

It was a short walk from Insadong where we stayed.

There is a Korean Folks Village and Museum next to the Palace.
