Visiting Korean Pressed Flower Club 2–2012 Vacation Part 5

I can over to the classroom after visiting the office and having tea. Ms. Lee and another teacher have already prepared materials for classes.

Equipment such as microwave, UV light, and etc… are all here in the classroom.

I also love the artworks displayed in the classroom. It is too bad that the reflection is terrible. I can’t find any angle to take a picture without reflection. This is the best I can do.

We play jewelry making first. First we glue flowers on the base. Then we put the jewelry base into a bag with silica gel for completely dryness. After dried for 15 – 20 minutes, we brush UV resin on. Place the piece under UV light for 8 minutes. Repeat several times to finish.

Simple pencil holder: First we glue design onto the plastic piece. Then we peel off the protection sheet from Korean paper adhesive. Place the adhesive paper onto design. Place the piece on base and top with cap to finish.

Ms. Lee treated me with Korean vegetable rice cake. It is very tasty. Slightly sweet but more salty taste.

We ordered Charchiang Noodle for lunch. Korean noodles are very good.

Everyone else arrived in the afternoon finally. They had simple lunch and then we started class.

Making jewelry box. First we brush acrylic medium on the shinny plate. Then we use sponge to drip acrylic color on. We glue flower designs after colors are dried. Then we brush mat clear acrylic sealer two coats.
